As Plastay Kimya, we aim to provide our employees with a safer and healthier working environment. To achieve this, we are committed to establishing a strong occupational health and safety (OHS) culture and making it a way of life across our organization.

In this direction, we commit to:

• Eliminating hazards and reducing OHS risks with the participation of our employees; identifying, assessing, and controlling risks; taking preventive measures to minimize risks; and continuously monitoring results to reduce potential dangers to the lowest possible level.

• Using safe equipment and appropriate technologies to create a healthy and safe working environment.

• Fulfilling all legal obligations, relevant standards, and requirements regarding occupational health and safety.

• Consulting with employees at all organizational levels and ensuring their participation in the improvement of OHS practices.

• Continuously improving our processes and enhancing OHS performance through a proactive approach.

• Developing and maintaining training programs and activities to ensure the adoption of OHS principles by employees, subcontractors, suppliers, visitors, and interns.

• Ensuring that employees’ exposure levels and exposure durations to hazardous substances are kept at the minimum possible level.

• Protecting employees from risks by following a hierarchy of controls:
  1) Eliminating risks at their source,
  2) Implementing collective protective measures when elimination is not possible,
  3) Providing and ensuring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment when collective measures are insufficient.

• Communicating and maintaining accessibility of our Occupational Health and Safety Policy to employees and third parties at all times.
