Select compound against the finished article
Cable insulation electrical targets, hose flexibility and profile dimensional stability are different requirements. Products belonging to one portfolio are not necessarily one technical grade. Specify the application and processing method when requesting grade-specific data.
What to check in a production trial
Include extrusion or injection conditions, die geometry, line speed and surface expectations in the sample evaluation. Track mechanical properties, ageing and colour consistency alongside hardness and density. Do not treat portfolio-wide ranges as the specification of one product.
