Rigid PVC Compounds and Granules
Rigid PVC applications require a balance of stiffness, impact performance and processing consistency. Selection from the Plastay Compounds portfolio uses application-specific technical data.

Balancing stiffness and impact
Fillers, stabilizers and other additives influence surface finish, impact and processing behaviour. Consider loading conditions, wall thickness and outdoor exposure when selecting a grade. Shore A values used for flexible PVC do not describe every property of a rigid PVC grade.
Die and processing compatibility
Temperature, shear and tooling conditions differ between extruded profiles and injection-moulded parts. Monitor surface finish, dimensional consistency and thermal behaviour in trials, and request grade-specific results for finished-product standards.
