How to choose a PVC compound supplier

Comparing only price per kilogram gives an incomplete view of a PVC compound. A suitable grade must meet hardness, mechanical performance and colour targets while working on the production line. Cable sheathing, hoses and rigid profiles need different specifications. State the end use and current process clearly in an enquiry.

From sample to regular supply

After laboratory checks, trial the sample on your own line. Record surface finish, dimensional stability, scrap and the processing window. Discuss batch traceability, certificates of analysis, change notifications, packaging and delivery. A report against an application standard must identify the formulation and specimens it covers; a report for another grade does not approve your finished product.
